South African applicants to programmes listed on the Central Application Office (CAO) system.
South African applicants who wish to enter the University of Zululand for the first time for undergraduate study must apply through the Central Applications Office (CAO). Applications must be made on the CAO application form that is made available to the institution and applicants must use the CAO qualification codes in the CAO Handbook or University Undergraduate Prospectus to make application to specific programmes. Application forms must be submitted in person or posted to the CAO. The CAO processes the applications and provides the application information on-line to the University of Zululand.
The CAO provides an on-line application form facility on their website. This can be printed out for your convenience. A non-refundable application fee of R150 is payable to the CAO for applications received before 31 October 2009 and a late fee of R300 is charged after 1 November 2009.
Please consult the CAO webpage at www.cao.ac.za for their contact details and more information.
